First Osho Meditation camp at Osho Upaban

Situated on a plateau at the foothills of Mt Machhapucchre, OshoUpavan is an almost triangular island bordered by two mountain rivers and a dense forest. The commune with its abundance of nature is just paradise for nature lovers who want to take a retreat while practicing Osho meditation. Few months ago the constructions works at Upavan were officially inaugurated by Swami Anand Arun and with the hard-work and dedication of Osho sannyasins in Pokhara, the commune today already has two beautiful buildings that housed the hundred participants who had gathered for the first meditation camp at Osho Upavan.

Many Osho techniques were practiced during the camp while the silent sitting session at the bank of River Seti was like by most of the participants. Apart from the meditation sessions the participants also enjoyed water retreats which were very relaxing for most of the participants. The Phussre Khola that flows by the entrance of the commune forms a dark blue natural swimming pool that attracts everyone who visits the commune. The camp concluded with 25 new friends taking initiation into Osho-neo sannyas facilitated by Swami Anand Arun. The construction of 10 residential buildings has already started and is expected to be completed by October. The further construction plan of the commune includes an organic farm, a livestock farm, and a swimming pool with spa and sauna facilities. The commune already has residential facilities and is open for visitors and a few residential guests.
